1920S Johnson 243 Brass Carburetor Automobile Truck1920's johnson carburetor. Detroit, mich. Please look at my otehr auctions, i am listing 7 other brass carbs. These are all from my father's, (jack martells, author, the beer can collector's bible and antique automotive collectibles) collections. This is a johnson company carb manufactured in detroit, mi in the 1920's. It is brass and in good condition. The butterfly valve operates perfectly and teh primer in the float bowl works well. The adjustmnet knobs needs lubricating. This was also part of the collection that got wet in our barn, however, we all know brass cleans easy and the linkage and knobs are vrey easily restored. The inside of the card looks beautiful sa no water settled in there. This is a very nice piece to the car buff and the collector. It's roguh dimension are 7 x 4 x 4.The measurement between the studs, center to center is 2 5/8.
